Product Identification and Traceability Procedure
1.)PURPOSE
The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that the products offered to the customer and / or the raw materials and semi-finished materials included in these products are clearly identified, marked and traceable in the desired detail throughout the procurement, production, delivery to the customer and post-delivery surveillance stages. The identification and traceability of products prevents the mixing of different products and ensures that the causes of a nonconformity are identified as soon as possible.
2.) SCOPE
This procedure covers all processes (Purchasing, storage, quality control, maintenance, planning and manufacturing, shipment, etc.) of all products manufactured in our company.
3.) RESPONSIBLE
All departments are responsible for monitoring all products and services and ensuring that records are kept and maintained.
4.) DEFINITIONS
- Product Identification: It is the coding used to distinguish each product from other products.
- Traceability: It is the ability to access retrospective information by identifying the product or the materials that make up the product with a specific identification system.
APPLICATION
5.1)General
- General Product Identification and Traceability Program (Virames) is managed by the ERP System Responsible.
- Within the scope of the projects in the production plan, separate material lists, workflows, product recipes, resource maps, personnel qualifications for each project are created by the project team and added to the system by the relevant unit responsible.
- At each step of the process, the system creates a separate barcoding code.
